Here we are at week 7, not even the half way point and this football stuff has me run down. As I sit here battling a cold I am also trying to figure out who to start at quarterback this week. Here is where I love the brain trusts at ESPN who tell us to start Peyton Manning, Eli MAnning, and Drew Breese.......
Well how about picking a starting quarterback out of this group: Who would you start this week in a 2 QB league along side Peyton Manning:
a) Tony Romo
b) JP Losman
c) Rex Grossman
d) Jim Sorgi
Fellow fantasy owners these are problems, I wish i could "start" Drew Brees like they say on ESPN, but like many other owners this week i am trying to figure out which "bum" to start who may get lucky and get some playing time. I decided to go with JP Losman, the man the Bills traded a #1 draft pick to the Dallas Cowboys for who cant pass Trent Edwards on the depth chart. Maybe Edwards will take another big hit today and have to go to JP. WISH ME LUCK!

Whats Up with these NFL Game-Pre Game Announcers???
Brian Billick and Emmitt Smith Clueless!!
Is it me or is everyone getting tired of watching football on Sunday and listening to the game day announcers or pre-game hosts get players names wrong or say just dumb things. Brian Billick on Sunday while announcing the JETS-CARDS game asks the question of "why are the JETS not declining this penalty for running into the kicker" on a 4th down. Well Brian if you were paying attention to this tough job of actually watching the game you would have realized that Jay Feeley missed the 25 yard field goal and it would probably make sense to accept the penalty and try to the kick again, which the JETS did and Feely made the field goal. Is it that hard to pay attention to whats going on in the game, no wonder why Billeck is not coaching anywhere in the NFL.
It hurts me to beat up Emmitt Smith as a Dallas Cowboy fan, but it was painful watching ESPN Monday Night pre-game, which Emmitt had a week plus to prepare for and kept calling the coach of the Ravens "Jim" Harbaugh. Well Emmitt the coach of the Ravens is Jim's brother John Harabaugh!
How many times do we watch a Giant game and hear the announcers call the quarterback of the Giants "Peyton Manning", These guys need to start to pay attention to the details of their jobs and get these things right!
