The QFL fantasy football league is a group of ten crazy guys mostly from Staten Island although we have had teams draft from all over the United States from Florida, Detroit and Boston to name a few. It is a 22 man roster league that protects up to 16 players. The league has been in place for over ten years thanks to our great league chairman Eric Qualben.
After the first four weeks of the season we are in for a great year. Two teams have started 4-0 and with the influx of a great rookie class many teams have improved their teams from last year. Of course it wouldnt be the QFL without some sort of controversy, but its all in good fun. We had the "Drew Stanton Trade" the Joe K playing without a kicker and QB and of course the three headed monsters starting Carson Palmer this week with Jamarcus Russell and donovan McNabb on the bench.
Week 5 should start to open things up where we will see who the contenders and pretenders really are this year.
